1. Information we collect

When you create a report, we collect the baby's gender, date of birth, time of birth, birthplace and selected report language. We may also receive payment and transaction details from Razorpay, such as a payment ID, order ID, payment status and payment method. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI, net-banking or wallet credentials.

We also receive technical information that your browser sends to our hosting and payment providers, such as device type, browser information, approximate location and security logs.

2. How we use information

We use the information to calculate the requested chart, generate and display your report, process and verify payment, prevent fraud, troubleshoot technical issues, respond to support requests and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Birth details are used only to prepare the report you request. BabyAstro does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

3. Service providers

We use trusted service providers to deliver the service, including Razorpay for payment processing, Google Places for birthplace search, hosting and database providers for application operation, and an AI report-writing service to turn verified chart data into readable report text. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services and under their own policies.

4. Storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. Payment credentials are handled by Razorpay and are not stored on BabyAstro servers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive information through support messages.

We keep report and transaction records only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, support, fraud prevention, tax and legal requirements. You may request deletion of information that we are not required to retain.

5. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold, request correction, request deletion where legally possible, or ask a question about this policy. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

6. Children's information

BabyAstro is purchased and used by parents or guardians. The service is not directed to children. Please provide a child's birth details only if you are their parent, guardian or otherwise authorised to do so.

7. Policy changes

We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
